Need a fun and engaging unicellular orgnanisms activity for review? Have students to show their creativity and design a unicellular cartoon! This can be digital or hand drawn.
**This lesson pairs well with NC Essential Standard: 7.L.1.1 (current) and LS.7.1.1 (new standards) as well as other state standards dealing with the unicellular (single-celled) organisms.
Students will:
- create a unicellular cartoon to explain how the structures of single-celled organisms (euglena, amoeba, paramecium, volvox) carry out all of the basic functions of life.
- construct an explanation using the CER framework to explain how the structures of single-celled organisms (euglena, amoeba, paramecium, volvox) carry out all of the basic functions of life.
