Description
This is your one-stop-shop for a researched-based quick and engaging review of 7th grade math – the number system standards to help your students prepare for the end of grade test for your state. This resource is created for a 1-2 day review of the number system domain including standards 7.NS.1, 7.NS.2, and 7.NS.3.
After reviewing multiple end-of-grade tests in a variety of common core states, I have created a review to best stress what standards are tested most often so that your students can have to confidence to rock the test!
What is included in this review:
-
a mini-lesson: This is a 13 slide EDITABLE mini-lesson (PPT and PDF) that reviews adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing positive and negative rational numbers (integers, decimals, and fractions). This mini-lesson covers an overview of all topics and is meant to be completed in a short amount of time so that students can spend more time applying the information. The mini-lesson includes interactive portions such as think-pair-share and asking for volunteers.
-

-
homework assignment – This is a 10 question printable that includes 5 fill-in-the-blank questions and 5 short answer questions related to the number system standards.
*** BONUS*** The Number System Common Core Cluster Review! This includes 50 number system domain questions for extra practice.
I hope your students enjoy this review of 7th grade math focused on the number system!
