I love task cards! This random sampling activity provides an engaging review that will allow students to get out of their seats and have fun with their learning. These task cards have a focus on key vocabulary along with a variety of problems to help students practice their math skills.
A black and white version is also included.
Random Sampling Activity – Task Cards will cover the following:
♥ statistics, samples, population, biased and unbiased samples
♥ determining appropriate options for samples and surveys
♥ exploring samples using colored paper
♥ identifying samples and populations
♥ determining whether samples are valid
♥ and more!
These task cards require little prep. For task card #3 (included in the preview), teachers should tear up a few pieces of construction or colored paper and place them in a paper bag. This will give students the opportunity to have a hands-on approach for samples and populations!!
