  • a detailed 18 slide (EDITABLE) PowerPoint covering simple interest. The lesson includes 5 examples with click-by-click ease as well as a guided practice problem at the end! The examples included many levels of difficulty. Examples include: finding interest and final balance, finding time, finding rate, and finding principal.
 
  • guided notes / Students can engage with the lesson by completing guided notes that go perfectly along with the slides.
 
This package also includes an engaging cut-and-paste worksheet.
  • With this worksheet, you can make solving simple interest problems fun! Students may solve it in the work box, and then cut and glue the answer in the correct box. Students will know if they made a mistake right away when they notice their answer is not on the answer sheet! Students of all ages love to glue!
 
  • There are 12 problems in all!
 
  • The simple interest problems includes problems to find total balance, interest, interest rate, and time borrowed.
 
This package also a simple interest QR Scavenger Hunt.
  • Use technology to review simple interest! Students can work individually or in pairs and start at any point in the room. Students can scan the QR code to receive the problem, they will solve the problem, and then search around the room for the answer. Once they find their answer, they record their answer, and then scan the QR code on that card and solve the next problem. The process will continue until all of the problems are done.
 
  • This activity includes 16 questions dealing with solving simple interest problems.
