Description
Soil formation from begins with the weathering of rock, a process that students learn about from the rock cycle. This formation of soil lesson goes over the importance of soil, the process of weathering, and the five factors that influence what type of soil forms. This interactive is designed to reduce student cognitive load and to help them to retain information on how soil forms in their long-term memory.
