Description
Want a fun and engaging way to teach and explore weather tools? Here is a creative way to teach weather instruments.
You can post each poster in your classroom. Each student, or pair of students, can use the recording sheet to write down the weather tool, what it measures or observes, example data from the tool, a fun fact, and a picture. Students can walk around the room and fill out their chart.
This allows students to be more engaged and will allow for differentiation in the classroom because you’ll have time to address individual needs.
You can have students explore just 5 of the tools, 8 of them, or all 10 of them!
What’s included? Recording Sheets (2 pages) and 10 printable letter-sized color posters
Weather Tool Posters for:
- Thermometer
- Rain Gauge
- Anemometer
- Wind Vane
- Barometer
- Hygrometer
- Weather Satellite
- Weather Radar
- Weather Balloon
- Weather Station
This product could also be used as posters and could be created into an anchor chart. This is a great bulletin board idea!
